More goodies from the vault that I discovered last week. But actually, a lot of what I found was new, promos, not old! The Discovery LP I blogged on last week was a highlight, and so was the “Dark Was the Night” sampler (the AIDS benefit put together by the bros from The National), which contained new tracks by The National of all people! Also, a killer import by The Lemonheads for “Big Gay Heart, ” which came with all the limited edition stickers and in mint condition! What a steal, as you can see from the Amazon link that it’s over $15!!! The latest Baby Teeth release and their previous effort were cool, as they have been building hype here in the Windy City for the last few years. Other highlights included the old techno infused record by Curve “Come Clean,” and the Saddle Creek newbies Ladyfinger NE and their new LP “Dusk.” I was also seriously pumped when I found Rob Dickinson’s, lead singer from the Catherine Wheel, last record for $1! That was the clincher in this victory! You can see the rest below and salivate, or start to follow my lead and have lunch in a dumpster! As Mellencamp sings “Check It Out!”
