The story goes like this: I heard this Discovery LP last year and fell in love with it.  It’s an amazing mix of keyboard driven pop, with hip hop beats.  It frigging RAWKS!  I killed it, and started reading more about the two guys who were behind the music.  Those two men are the masterminds behind that incredibly fun “LP,” and they are also members of respected bands, you might know.  Rostam “Batman”glij is the driving force and keyboardist behind Vampire Weekend, and Wes Miles is the vocalist from Ra Ra Riot.  They delivered this album in 2009, and it made it on to my “Best Of” list that year.  Then, while watching Good Morning America, this year, I heard a RaRa Riot version of “Can You Tell.” I had no idea that Ra Ra Riot even did this song, I thought it was exclusive to Discovery!  This led me to buy up everything ‘Riot did, and I eventually “discovered” that this song has been recorded at least four different times now!  Happy hunting!
