Tame Impala “Solitude is Bliss”

While on the subject of Modular bands, I have to say that Tame Impala has my attention too.   I admit to not liking these guys at first though, I just wasn’t getting their first EP.  I kept seeing the band name pop up in reviews, but it’s their best Stone Roses impression that caught my attention.  Once I heard that funky bass line from “Solitude is Bliss,” I became very interested.  I noticed that eMusic had their LP, and I decided to give it a listen.  The record had a psychedelic vibe and a little bit of that Mad-Chester dance sound to boot.  These are both things I dig, so it is now spinning on my iPhone hard drive.  Check out “Inner Speaker.”
