A guy I know, Neil Young, produces really great hip-pop beats. Yes, that’s what I call them, hip-pop! Anyway, he sent me this incredible instrumental, and it brought back memories of all these Summer Jams of yore. So all the while I was trying to write this rap song about Summer Jams, this tune kept coming up. It’s not so much the lyrics, as it is the beat that haunts me, but it’s so smooth, it just makes you feel like cruising with the top down.
