Beautiful Love

Happy New Year!  The Cut Out Kid needs to write less and post more.  Sometimes I get lost in words and ramble on like Robert Plant about my favorite dollar discoveries.  As a resolution, I would like to post more and write a little less.  Though I do love writing, I feel the need to be a little less wordy, as there is so much music I want to get to.  After all, I started this blog last year to share my excitement of hidden musical gems, and I found myself getting sidetracked at times.  Sort of like that AM/PM commercial, “TOO MUCH GOOD STUFF,” that’s what I’ve got!  So, I will try to get to more of that stuff in my blog.  I finally found a beat up copy of Julian Cope’s “Peggy Suicide,” in the ‘bins, and it contains one of my favorite singles of all time, “Beautiful Love.”  I always wanted to buy this CD as a teenager, but never had enough left over after giving Morrissey and The Smiths all my hard-earned coin.  Oh well, almost 20 years later, I got it!  Sounds as good as it did then, and I hope you enjoy it as well.  He never really got huge over here, but did have some LP’s in the 120 Minutes Top Ten Countdown.  I’m not sure how the rest of the LP is, as I have only heard it once, but I will update this blaaahhg if it’s anything groundbreaking.  Enjoy!  May 2010 bring all your dreams, and grant you all your wishes!!!
